I find myself sitting up in bed with only the light from my computer illuminating the room. The bed side lamp is on but the rays are only there to fill out the rest of the darkness with that unmistakeable incandescent glow, which isn't actually light but a form of energy which is used to drain life from those who dare stare.There is never usually any sense to my ramblings. I find it's just good to sit down and let my thought spill out into this "box". Typing isn't the same as writing, especially on a mac. I find I'm always going back and fixing up mistakes that frequently get highlighted by the built-in spell checker. As I type this I think it might help me keep some kind of direction, because when I come back to typing I read over what I have just said and ultimately continue from that point. If I were to upload some of the pieces of writing I've written in my various books you would see the difference in the style of writing... anyways...

The Creative Writing Game.
Rules: You ask anyone for a word. Doesn't matter who, or what word they give you. Then you have to write a short piece using that word in any way you like. You could use it as theme or as the opening word. You might decide to write about the opposite of that word. It doesn't matter, and that's why this game is so much fun.
